I'm trying this game for the first time in years I think I played the tutorial level once and then put it down about five years ago so I'm 100% a beginner. I read that the game controls best with an controller, unless you have an actual steering wheel. The thing is, I can't find where the controller keybinds are anywhere in the game and I'm struggling to figure out the controls.

Driving with lights on is required in most EU countries 24/7. You can get a ticket if you don't obey that rule in real life too. There is no fines for running them in countries that don't require em, so just keep them on, as most of us do anyway. AI running into you is either your fault or your fault.
When driving around in full daylight and sunny, I see some AI drivers having their lights on, while others have them off. Is this just a random thing added by the developers for flavor, to simulate how real drivers behave, or am I missing something? Should I turn on my lights at this point, or not? Thank you.

A unspecified green light applies to the whole road. Separate arrow lights indicate only one allowed traffic flow, either left turn, right turn or straight on. In the UK you would never see an unspecified light only allowing you to straight without any road restrictions such as no entries, no right of left turn signs.
